Novellaire (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI-narrated audiobook production services to authors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and customers of novellaire.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this short and plain.
When you submit a free chapter request, place an order, or send a custom inquiry through our forms, we collect:
For paid orders, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or bank details. Stripe provides us only the basic transaction confirmation (last 4 digits of card, billing email, amount, status).
When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics tools automatically log standard request information — IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We use this to understand site performance, debug errors, and protect against abuse.
We use the information you provide to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send unsolicited marketing email. We do not share your manuscript with anyone outside our production process.
To run Novellaire, we use a small set of trusted third-party services. Each receives only what is necessary to do its job:
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and security practices.
Your manuscript is your intellectual property. We treat it as confidential. We download it solely to run our production pipeline, retain a working copy while your project is active, and remove our local copies within 30 days after final delivery unless you ask us to retain them for revisions or future projects. We never publish, redistribute, or train any model on your manuscript content.
If you provide a reference recording of your own voice for cloning, we use it solely to render your audiobook and we delete the reference and any derived voice models within 30 days of final delivery, or upon your request, whichever is sooner. We do not clone third-party voices without verifiable written consent — this is a hard line, ethically and legally.
We keep order records (name, email, book title, transaction ID, delivery date) for as long as needed to provide support, handle revisions, and comply with tax and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@novellaire.com. Records required for tax compliance may be retained per applicable law.
You have the right to:
To exercise these rights, email support@novellaire.com. We respond within a reasonable time (typically within 7 business days).
Novellaire uses minimal cookies necessary to operate the site and basic analytics (page views, traffic sources) to understand site usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell visitor data.
Novellaire is intended for authors and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information — HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on production systems, and reputable third-party providers for payments and email. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your data with care.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via email to active customers.
