Yes. Audible accepts AI-narrated audiobooks as long as they're disclosed as such — and as of 2024, Audible launched a dedicated AI narration program. Our files meet ACX technical requirements out of the box. Most authors upload directly without a single rejection.
Studio tier authors get a custom pronunciation guide upfront — submit "Gisela = GEE-zell-ah" and we bake it in before rendering. After delivery, our whole-book search-and-fix tool can re-render every instance of any word across the entire book in minutes. Indie tier authors can purchase pronunciation fixes individually if needed.
Both ChatGPT and ElevenLabs hand you raw output. We don't ship raw output. Every chunk is automatically transcribed, compared word-for-word against your manuscript, and re-rendered if it deviates. Splices are placed at natural silence with a 30ms crossfade so they're inaudible. That validation pipeline — not access to a model — is what authors are actually paying for.
